Vanesa gaam is located in the Surat district of South Gujarat State , India. We have common rich history and culture unlike any other.  Like many villages in the area, Vanesais approximately 300 year community.  Since the original settlement, the community has relied heavily on agriculture for its survival. The unpredictable nature of weather cycles posed harsh conditions for early settlers.

In the last century, many enterprising people from the village migrated to United States for better economic prospects. Many worked hard in their adopted land and prospered in business ventures. During last 50 years, a significant portion of villagers migrated to USA under the family reunification friendly US immigration laws. Today more then half of the former village inhabitants call USA their primary place of residence.
